Film Studio London uk

There are number of good studios in London as Film Business plays a major role in London economy. Many of the studios has adopted green screen theme. Following is some information about London’s famous studios.

Camber well Studio: They offer 2 Film, Video and television production studios throughout the week.  It provides relaxed working environment. It provides facilities like hospitality rooms, wardrobe and changing rooms, an Internet cafĂ© style common area and plenty of onsite parking. This all facility is provided in very competitive price. Other facilities like HD cameras, CD player for playback, Sound equipments, autocue, laser projectors, 19” monitor, strobe light, smoke machine and a range of useful lights are available for hire. Green screen props and green screen cloth, different flags are available here. They also provide experienced crews to operate cameras and other technical equipments.

Ealing Studio: It is basically a television and film production company which provides facilities for the same also. It is the oldest continuously working studio facility for film production in the world. The number of films produced in this studio is very big. Many TV shows, Documentaries, music videos are produced here. Main films among them are Shaun of the dead, The importance of being earnest, The lady killers, The lavender hill mob, Kind hearts and coronets.

Lime Grove Studios: It was built by Gaumont Film Company in 1915. It is described as the finest studio in Great Britain.  From 1949 to 1991 the studio was used by BBC.

Riverside Studios: It is a production studio as well as theatre and independent cinema on the bank of river Thames. It also hosts contemporary and international dramatic and dance performance and film production. Jack Whitehall, You are fired, Celebrity juice, You have been watching, Russell Howard’s good news, Robert’s web are some of known articles.

Twickenham Film Studios: is used by many motion picture and television companies. At the rime of its construction in 1913 it was the largest film studio in United Kingdom. The mirror  cracked, An American werewolf in London, A fish called wanda, Blade runner, Brother Sun , Sister moon, The others, Layer Cake, Crucible, Interview with the vampire, and sweet revenge are some latest productions of the studio.

Merton Park Studios: It was a British film production studio started in 1940. Noticeable thing about the studio is, unlike many other studios, they remain opened during World War II and producing the films for Ministry of Information.  The actor/author Stanley Morgan has a number of pages dedicated to the Merton Park films he starred in.

Waterloo film Studios London: It is green screen TV and film studio for hire located nearby waterloo station.  All facilities like Green room, kitchen, parking, make up room, production office, Free Wi-Fi, hot shower, wardrobe, sitting facility for 50 persons, Showroom, vehicle access, Disabled access, Camera crews  and equipments for hire, props, grip equipments, black drapes are available here.

Elstree Studios: The studio is home to famous TV shows like Dancing on ice, who wants to be millionaire, Big Brother. Some famous films produced over here are Star wars, Indiana Jones, Kick Ass, The king’s speech and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Other than film and TV production it is also good for booking a rehearsal or promo or any corporate event. It is located 20 minutes away from London’s heart.

Film Studio London :- London NW10 have versatile studios used by film and independent video makers for Film and TV footage, music videos, photography and Green screen (chromakey / chroma-key) shoots.
